Learn To Swim Title

Turtle Tots 1-3 (5 months to 2.5 years)

Our Turtle Tots program incorporates all areas of water familiarisation and safety, presented in fun and entertaining lessons. Here at SwimWorld, we explain and show you how to teach your child to survive and practise at home; giving you the tools to help ensure your child's needs are met.

The lessons run for 30 minutes and are limited to seven in a class.

Turtle Tots 4 (2.5 to 3 years)

Our Turtle Tots 4 program is designed to give the children their first opportunity to swim unaccompanied by a parent/caregiver. It is a transition period in which they become more familiar with the skills necessary to swim, including kicking on their front and back.

The lessons run for 30 minutes and are limited to three in a class.

Junior Aquatic Program (3 to 5 years)

In these classes we are working on survival, body position and correct kick. We set short term goals for the children and see great results every day.

The lessons run for 30 minutes and are limited to four in a class.

Aquatic Program (Learn to swim)

Once your child can survive, we then move on to the strokes; breaking them down and giving your child easy goals to achieve. Freestyle and Backstroke are the first strokes we teach, followed by Breaststroke.

The lessons run for 30 minutes and are limited to four, five or six in a class (depending on the level).

Squad Training

Junior Squads

In this program, we work on all four strokes and the teacher is in the water to correct your child's stroke and give them guidance. Endurance is a key at this level and helps to prepare the children for our squad program.

The lessons run for 45 minutes and are limited to six in a class.

Squads 1-4

In these levels, the teacher is on deck correcting and working on endurance. Endurance is essential for many other activities and sports. All levels can join in our morning program.

The lessons run for 45 minutes to 1 hour.

When you join our squad program, the following items will be required for your swimming kit:
